NIONEX and Zweitwerk Embark on Strategic Partnership

Specialists for Content and Media Asset Management Expand on Existing Collaboration
 
Gütersloh/Hamburg, 8 July 2004 – NIONEX GmbH, a DirectGroup Bertelsmann subsidiary, and Zweitwerk Software Engineering GmbH, specialist for media asset management, are expanding on previous collaboration and embarking on a strategic partnership. Both companies have already been cooperating for some time on various projects and now plan on more closely combining their future sales activities. “Through the cooperation with NIONEX, we can get the most out of existing synergies and sustainably strengthen the position of our products,” as Stephan Selle, Managing Director of Zweitwerk GmbH, comments on the partnership. Horst Gosewehr, Managing Director of NIONEX GmbH, is also happy about the ongoing collaboration: “We have been successfully using jadis.net for awhile and will now be able to take over the operation of this ASP solution within the framework of the partnership.” The solution is currently integrated in e.g. the system environment at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the central corporate archive of Bertelsmann AG. In addition to this, Toshiba, Montblanc and the Rowohlt Verlag (publishing house) all use jadis.net.
