Wissen Media Technology
Wissen Media Technology has arisen out of the technical competence center of the Wissen Media Group. Nionex GmbH operates within this field. Nionex is a technological service which prides itself on having a large amount of experience in the development of solutions for content management, cross media publishing and portals. It is one of the leading companies to offer these services in Germany. Nionex has also established itself as a full service provider in the German e-learning market.
As a system integrator for content management solutions, the company offers an entire range of services beginning from consulting with the client and the conception through the technical development to the construction of a complete Internet and iTV platform. Nionex uses custom-made solutions with the components from standard products which have proved themselves on the market. To round up its range of services, Nionex works together with select partner companies such as Tridion, CoreMedia, Pansite and Zweitwerk in the area of content management solutions and media design.
The extent of Nionex's know-how has been demonstrated by Europe's largest free information portal, www.wissen.de, whose technical and operation Nionex was responsible for. A similar comprehensive technical solutions has also been successfully implemented by Nionex for the first Italian information portal sapere.it. Other Wissen Media Technology customers include the Milan publisher deAgostini, Wissen Media publishing house, ADAC publishing company, Bund publishing, the publishing group inmediaONE and the publishing house Walter de Gruyter, as well as T-Mobile, T-Online, E-Plus, O2, Nestlé, Wyeth Pharma, Barmenia, Zürich Agrippina and the Humboldt University in Berlin.
In November 2001 Nionex GmbH received the 1st International Content Management Award, an honor
