Project Description

For the Milan-based publishing house De Agostini, Nionex created Italy’s first-ever knowledge portal, sapere.it. De Agostini is one of the world’s largest and most well-known Italian publishing houses for reference works. During the implementation of the online portal, the publishing company placed great value in the unique search technologies provided by Nionex for retrieving long-standing contents. With the help of topic maps, thematic correlations can now automatically be created on an SGML/XML basis. This makes it very easy to classify contents and link them with one another.
