Together with enobis GmbH, Nionex has set up a corporate-wide intranet for ALTANA Chemie. The corporate portal serves as a central means of information for the employees of ALTANA Chemie. Through the system’s hierarchical concept, staff can directly access information relevant for their work. ALTANA Chemie develops and produces high-quality, innovative and environmentally friendly solutions and special products for varnish manufacturers, processors of varnishes and synthetics, as well as for the packaging, electrical and electronics industries. The company is a subsidiary of ALTANA AG, an international pharmaceutical and chemical corporation with over 10 400 employees worldwide and an annual turnover of 2.7 billion euros (2003).
